Mike Grenfell brings 15 years of C-suite experience as both CIO and COO, with deep expertise in financial services and complex technology programmes. Having led teams of 200+ staff with P&L responsibility, Mike understands both the technical complexity and business reality of major platform initiatives.
At Heartland Bank, Mike led their largest technology programme involving 20+ systems and 10+ vendors over three years. At NZAA, he delivered Salesforce CRM across 37 retail locations while building digital capabilities from the ground up. These experiences prove that successful programmes need more than good technology—they need governance frameworks that work and teams aligned to business outcomes.
Mike has reported directly to regulators, presented to boards, and built security programmes aligned to international frameworks. He brings practical experience from both sides of the technology-business equation.
